This one's a bit tougher, however. My dad is wearing a shirt that was dyed with the same rock in which he's now camouflaged. Can you find him?

You'll Probably Spy, I Didn't
The other day I walked into the boys' room to get Ollie from his nap. I looked in his bunk (you know, where I left him): no Ollie. I looked in Rhett's bunk (you know, where he's been known to climb): no Ollie. Where could this kid be? It took me much longer than it should have to find him. I bet you'll be faster.

This one's a bit tougher, however. My dad is wearing a shirt that was dyed with the same rock in which he's now camouflaged. Can you find him?

I Spy, Rhett Doesn't: 1.0
Imagine my horror to find out that the inability to find things is hereditary. Is this really the next 15 years of my life? "I Spy, They Don't," times three?! DUDE. My life is going to be hard.
You are looking for two of these...

...here

P.S. Running Ragnar today and tomorrow! Expect a report on Monday...or Wednesday if I sleep through Sunday.
P.P.S. To my mom: Rhett loves this safari shirt, in case you couldn't tell. Thanks!

I Spy, Chuck Doesn't: 3.0
Ever since I began posting this hugely popular "I Spy, Chuck Doesn't" series, Chuck and I have become very wary of admitting we can't find something. He doesn't want to because he knows it'll end up here (shhh...don't tell him) and I don't want to because, well, I think that's pretty obvious.
So when he added "soy sauce" to the grocery list, I was pretty excited. Can you find it? If it helps you, it's La Choy brand soy sauce: the only brand allowed in the house (his rules, not hers).

To save us time, I'm going to have the conversation Chuck and I would have had once he got home from work, had I not gone through it now:
Chuck: I didn't know I could look for it. Had I known there was another in there, I would have looked. And I would have found it.
Erin: Well, you're supposed to take into account that I'm such a great housekeeper that I anticipate things running out therefore I buy them before they're totally gone.
Chuck:
Erin: And what's with you putting a totally empty bottle back into the fridge, HUH?
Chuck:
Erin: That's right.

I Spy, Chuck Doesn't: 2.0
Is it too soon to make fun of my still-ailing husband? Hope not because...it's time again for another rousing game of "I Spy, Chuck Doesn't!" [Cue game show music, preferably "Wheel of Fortune."] This time you are looking for light bulbs. And please don't judge the state of this cupboard nor the ceiling above it. It stresses me out but I haven't yet made time to organize it.
Anyway, GO! Feel free to click to enlarge.

P.S. How sad is this pizza? You know which quarter is mine, right? Sigh. These boys. They kill me. Doesn't it look one-fourth yummy?

Can You Find Moody Bear? Because Chuck Can't
Within the first year of marriage, I realized I'd married a man who can't find things. It doesn't matter where the things are (pantry, cabinets, closets), he struggles in all areas. For example, the other day we were trying to clean up and find Rhett's "Moody Bear" game thingy. We were all looking everywhere, but without luck. We even looked under the couches. This was serious. I made one quick trip to the playroom and SURPRISE! I spied it immediately. Mind you: this is a room Chuck had already pored over, searching for that blasted Moody Bear.
So now it's your turn. First I'll show you what Moody Bear looks like:

(Yes, yes, technically this isn't Moody Bear, but rather his house. So sue me.)
And here's the playroom exactly as it was when Chuck unsuccessfully looked for the bear. I'm going to bet that you can find Moody Bear, so please just tell me how long your search took. (And yes, you're allowed to click it to enlarge.)

P.S. I'd like to thank you all for the thoughts and prayers for our family during this very difficult time. You know, the difficult time of "no-canned-pumpkin-in-the-stores-whatsoever." All your prayers were answered yesterday when I found it at Safeway. I bought 12 cans and plan on buying more. Wait, what's that you say? You weren't praying for pumpkin for our sad family?! Hmmm...Prayer really seemed like the only logical explanation since I'd been looking for so long. Regardless it's MINE, all mine. [Cue evil laugh.]
