Comparatively Speaking

I had to laugh at my friend Daniel.  I posted some pictures on Facebook and on this particular one, he commented, "I think that it's time for your neighbors to cut their grass!"

Oooh, Daniel, if you only knew. Let me show you the yards next door and across the street.

Can you now understand why we're grateful for the first neighbor's mow job?

  1. Erin, Holy Cow! The sad thing is that these yards look like they were once taken excelent care of and now allowed to, in one fell swoop, get completely out of controle. Remember whey you said that you and Chuck were economy proof? Did you take into account all the weed spray that you would have to purchase to protect against your neighbors lawns?

  3. last summer they were better, even though they were unoccupied then. and no, the weed killer was not functioned into our budget, but it might have to be. if there were people in the houses, i could report them to the county, but not much good it will do when they're bank-owned. and yes, linda, it does drive me crazy. if they'd come mow them once, i'd keep it up. but no way our lawn mower can handle it.
