School Pictures

Here is my son. Adorable, no? Of course yes. As a parent, I felt compelled to buy the school picture. As a miser, I felt compelled to buy only one large print that would scan well.

But now what? I mean, what do I do with the 26 school pictures I anticipate amassing by 2029? I don't see me making a quilt out of them because that's just weird. And for what may be the first time, Pinterest failed me! What do you do with your kids' school pictures?

  2. Today was picture day at Axton's preschool. I'm not sure if I will buy them or not. Growing up we got school pictures every other year. Nice for the wallet, but really bad if you didn't like the picture. The 8x10 was up on the wall for 2 years! You could always find one of the frames that has spots for each school year and add to it each year.

  3. My photographer friend puts wallet-sized pictures of her kids in ONE frame made to show their progression through the months/years/whatever.

  4. Mom FAIL.....I don't buy them, I have family pictures taken, buy the ridiculously overpriced CD of full resolution images, post them shamelessly everywhere and frame for my house.....In our school you can choose to have them taken or not, I choose NOT....and explain to my kids, they are totally OKAY with it.........

  5. What a great picture!!! I don't know what to do w Fred's billion pictures that come home from nursery and end up throwing them away mostly. School pictures...you could scan and send out every year and then just out them in a folder together? It would be fun to have them all side by side.
